Google's normal results — the ones below the ads — are free. Nobody pays to be there. What you pay for, when you pay, is speed.
1. Google Search Console
Free, official and the first step. It tells Google your site exists, shows which searches you already appear for, and points out errors that are holding you back. It takes twenty minutes to set up.
2. Google Business Profile
If you serve a specific area, this gives the fastest return of anything free. It puts you on the map and in local results, often above ordinary sites.
Fill in everything: hours, phone, real photos, area served. An incomplete profile shows up less.
3. Titles that say what the page is
Free, takes an afternoon and has the biggest effect. Each page with a term people actually type. If you do not know which ones those are, Search Console itself shows which searches you are already appearing for.
4. Content that answers questions
Every question your customers repeat can become a page that brings visits for years. It does not need to be long — it needs to answer.
5. Sites pointing to yours
This is the only one that takes more than your own time, because it depends on third parties. The free routes: catalogues in your field, trade associations, partners, suppliers, customers.
It is the slowest step done one at a time, and it is where a promotion service shortens things: Magneth publishes your listing across more than 100 search sites in the network at once.
What "free" costs
Time and repetition. All of these fronts work, and none of them keeps working on its own after being done once. Anyone who treats it as a one-day project sees no result. The full picture is in how to show up on Google.
